Wednesday, Feb. 5, 6:30 a.m. 鈥 含害羞传媒鈥檚 campuses are OPEN today. Classes and services are scheduled to run as planned.

Grounds crew have been working at Lansdowne and Interurban to spread salt and sand on parking lots, roadways and main walkways as conditions are icy. Please allow extra time when commuting, dress warmly and stay on cleared paths.

This award is not accepting applications at this time.

The Joyce Family Foundation Entrance Bursary is available to new students who demonstrate critical financial need and will enter full-time studies in the fall semester at 含害羞传媒. Annual availability of this award may vary.听

Criteria

All applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  1. Be enrolled or planning to enrol, full-time, in the upcoming Fall semester into a 含害羞传媒 program that leads to a credential
  2. Be able to demonstrate critical financial need
  3. Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident

Application process

  • Include a one-page letter of intention. Your letter of intention should:

    • 顿别蝉肠谤颈产别听why听you are interested in your program and听what听your future career goals are

    • Outline your past work and educational experiences

    • Speak to any past or current extraordinary personal or financial barriers or challenges
  • Complete applications including all supporting documentation must be submitted by the deadline. Late, incomplete, or printed applications will not be accepted.
  • Adjudication of this award will be managed by the Financial Aid and Awards office. All decisions are final.
  • Successful recipients will be notified by email within six weeks after the closing date.
  • Award will be applied directly to the student's 含害羞传媒 account. If tuition and fees have already been paid, the surplus amount will be refunded.

Additional Information

  • Entrance awards cannot be deferred to a future semester or year.
  • Students will not normally receive more than one entrance award.
  • Students receiving Persons with Disabilities or Income Assistance should speak with Financial Aid & Awards and their Ministry case worker to discuss how bursary funds may impact their government assistance.
  • Bursary funds are considered income. A statement for income tax purposes will be sent to recipients by 含害羞传媒.
  • Bursary recipients are encouraged to write a thank you letter to the donor; thank you letters can be submitted to Financial Aid & Awards at either campus.
