Wednesday, Feb. 5, 6:30 a.m. — ߴý’s campuses are OPEN today. Classes and services are scheduled to run as planned.

Grounds crew have been working at Lansdowne and Interurban to spread salt and sand on parking lots, roadways and main walkways as conditions are icy. Please allow extra time when commuting, dress warmly and stay on cleared paths.

Award description

This award is to recognize a student in the Education Assistant & Community Support program with a deep resonance for issues pertaining to social justice, especially in regard to those involved in the disabilities world. They have a passion for "improving the system" to make this a better world for all.

Nominations by faculty open in October (annually)

Most of the awards are given to students on the basis of nomination. You will be selected by your instructors or the chair of the department based on your academic performance, enthusiasm, participation and volunteer or work experience.
