Tuesday, Feb. 4, 6:30am 鈥 含害羞传媒鈥檚 campuses are CLOSED on Feb. 4 due to heavy snowfall and challenging road conditions being reported throughout the region. All classes and services will be closed for the day.

Students and employees are encouraged to stay warm, keep safe and avoid travel if possible.

Award description

To provide a financial award to assist a woman in taking, or continuing, Indigenous course work at 含害羞传媒. This award is made possible by a unique partnership between the Canadian Federation of University Women - Victoria and the United Way of Greater Victoria and generously supported by the Horner Foundation.

Criteria

You must:

  • be a female
  • be currently registered as a student at 含害羞传媒
  • have Indigenous (First Nations, M茅tis, Inuit, or Native American) ancestry
  • have a聽GPA聽of 2.5 or equivalent
  • complete the application form

Application process

You can聽apply for more than one award聽using the聽.

Please note: If the deadline occurs on a weekend, applications will be accepted until 4pm on the Monday.

Preference will be given to Indigenous applicants who work at, or volunteer with, a non-profit organization that undertakes to improve the lives of Indigenous people. Financial need will be strongly taken into consideration.
