Award description

Transfer scholarship – helping students complete their education

If you are transferring between two BC public-post secondary institutions to continue your education, you may be eligible for a $5000 Ike Barber Transfer Scholarship.

You must have completed either one or two years of study, and be transferring the credits you have earned to a second institution where you will complete your program.

Ike Barber Transfer Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement (2.5 GPA required) and community service or volunteerism.

The award application closes at 4pm on the March 28, 2024

Criteria

You can apply for an Ike Barber Transfer Scholarship after one year of full- time study if you must transfer to complete your degree or, after two years of full-time study, if you choose to transfer to complete your degree. Transferring after one-year or two-years differs in eligibility criteria. Please visit the website and click on the criteria that you wish to learn more about.
