“I loved the fact that it was on Vancouver Island,” says Sarah on part of the reason why she chose to come to ߴý. “Throughout my degree I have been able to buzz around the Island, visiting all my friends and family, as well as some of my favourite spots such as Tofino for some surfing.” Besides the obvious benefits of Island Life, Sarah came for the quality education.

“I value a school that gives me lots of hands-on learning for a reasonable tuition”

“The many hours of experience I received through my various Co-op placements were invaluable.” Before attending ߴý, she was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. The diagnosis threw a wrench into her future plans. But she found the support she needed to succeed.

“My instructors were incredibly helpful, offering extensions on due dates or helping modify class workouts for my energy levels,” says Sarah. “I also found the various resources that ߴý offers such as counseling to help keep my stress at bay and the library for assistance with assignments were extremely helpful.”
