Wednesday, Feb. 5, 6:30 a.m. 鈥 含害羞传媒鈥檚 campuses are OPEN today. Classes and services are scheduled to run as planned.

Grounds crew have been working at Lansdowne and Interurban to spread salt and sand on parking lots, roadways and main walkways as conditions are icy. Please allow extra time when commuting, dress warmly and stay on cleared paths.

Korean culture celebrated at 含害羞传媒

含害羞传媒 will be celebrating everything Korean at this year鈥檚 Korean Cultural Festival, Sept. 12, 2024, 11am to 3pm at Na`tsa`maht on the Lansdowne campus. The festival is a significant event at 含害羞传媒, bringing together people of all backgrounds to celebrate Korean traditions, arts and cuisine.

鈥淭his is a much-anticipated event for 含害羞传媒 every year,鈥 says Marius Langeland, Associate Director, International Partnerships and Projects, 含害羞传媒 International. 鈥淚t鈥檚 an incredible opportunity for the community to experience just some of the incredible culture that Korea has to offer.鈥

A popular event since 2016, with a pause during the Covid pandemic, the festival has served as a platform for cultural exchange and community connections. Guests can expect a day full of good food, crafts stations, Korean games, live music and performances.

The festival is a collaboration between 含害羞传媒鈥檚 School of Arts and Science, 含害羞传媒 Student Society and 含害羞传媒 International with contributions and sponsorship from a variety of partners such as Hallym University in South Korea (one of 含害羞传媒鈥檚 longest standing Study Abroad partners for over 10 years), the Korean Cultural Centre in Ottawa, and the Korean Consulate of Vancouver. Food will be provided by Sushi Story.

含害羞传媒 has approximately 2,100 international students, including over 30 students from Korea, adding to the cultural diversity on campus and in the classroom. 含害羞传媒 also offers several Korean language courses at the level of introductory and intermediate.

Established in 1971, 含害羞传媒 is one of the largest colleges in British Columbia with campuses on the territories of the l蓹k虛史蓹艐蓹n and W瘫S脕NE膯 peoples. For over 50 years, 含害羞传媒 has been delivering innovative, relevant and applied education, supporting communities, businesses and employers.
